Morton Salt Girl Turns 100!

Did you know that the Morton Salt Girl turned 100 this year! So we are celebrating! #MortonSaltGirl100

We decorated the house in fun yellow and blue, my kids got excited because well its a birthday party for a wonderful friend who has been around to watch us all grow up. So we had family and friends come over for a birthday celebration.

We paired Beefed Up Burgers which uses Morton® Season-All® Seasoned Salt, a personal favorite in our household. Along with fries on the side which we lightly salted with Morton Fine Sea Salt.

For the girls I had set aside foot baths which had their choice of Lavender or Eucalyptus Epsom Salt and they were able to relax after a long day at work and enjoy a easy fix to tried feet. I was shocked how great my feet felt after the 10 mins of being in the Epsom Salts. I let my daughter join in the foot bath also : ) For the ideal Epsom Salt bath you will need:

1 cup of Morton Natural Epsom Salt (Plain)
1/2 cup of coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 lemon juiced

Or you can purchase the pre-made packs of Natural Epsom Salt with Lavender or Eucalyptus.

Finally to end the night we played Trivia which was all related to salt. The winner got a nice Morton Salt Tin, filled with Morton Salt Goodies. I than brought out the Birthday cake for the Morton Salt Girl because you can't turn 100 without cake.

It was a fun night and I am so happy to have such great products from Morton Salt. The Morton Salt Girl has been in my family for many years and I hope my kids will continue to use her products for many more years to come.
