Chex Mix Holiday Mix!

“Disclosure: The information and prize pack have been provided by General Mills through Platefull Co-Op.”

I swear almost every time I go down the cereal isle, Chex has more yummy flavors. I remember when Chex came out with its original Chex Mix, it was (and still is) great, now there are so many flavors that no one can go without!

With the holidays around the corner more reason to have Chex Mix around the home for party guest, and family. With the many flavors of Chex cereal the possibilities are endless! Great flavors of Chex for the holidays are Chocolate, Vanilla and Cinnamon. I created my own mix, which is super sweet but taste great paired with hot chocolate.

Lets call it Wake up! Black Friday. So what it is, is:

Take the following and place in a pot on the stove,

  • half a bag of mini marshmallows (normal)
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup of coconut
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  •  1/4 cup of liquid creamer

Now turn on your pot and mix it all together until its a mushy mess, now add 2 cups of Cinnamon Chex Cereal and stir. Pour it into a cake pan, add more marshmallows on top, place in oven at 350 and cook for 10 mins. Let cool and enjoy! Its a super sweet treat that will get you through a long night into day shopping trip easy.
