Base Culture the healthy sweet

This summer I really wanna focus on better food options for my kids and I. One place I found was Base Culture which is based here in Clearwater, FL, about a 2 hour drive for me, but no worries you can find their products in your local Whole Foods store.

Base Culture has some amazing products to pick from that are all naturally organic and gluten free. What I love is Base Culture has a list of ingredients which I know! Like I know these products I have these products in my house, they are products you deal with almost daily especially if you eat healthy.

I was able to try out 3 items from their huge line of products. The 3 items I got to try were:

The Almond Butter Brownies, The perfect brownie--indulge without the guilt! Our Almond Butter Brownie is created with all-natural cocoa and drizzled with our own almond butter. Case Pack of 6 or 12, 2.2oz Brownies. Wow it was rich! I honestly didn't expect it to be so rich in flavor, I have had others which they always had a bland taste to them so this was a nice surprise. I shared it with my kids and they all wanted more. We finished it before I got my own picture of it.

Fruit & Nut Squares: Our Fruit & Nut Squares are the perfect snack for on the go, or on the couch! Grab these date, almond, coconut, cinnamon and fruit squares when you want a subtly sweet boost. 15 servings (14g/serving) Okay I am not a huge fan of my fruit being squished and mixed in with things especially when you think of a gooey bar. WOW again this was amazing it was the perfect combination of fruit and nut. I stay away from most bars because they often are hard on my teeth but this were so perfect I almost ate the whole jar on my own. The kids caught me or I would had, these are a must have for theme parks, hikes and more. They taste great room temp or chilled.

Last which it was a hard choice between the Fruit & Nut Squares and this one. This one is the Sticky Granola: You’ve never tasted granola like Sticky Granola! Savory-sweet glazed bits of nuts, seeds and dried fruits seasoned with coconut oil, honey, cinnamon and sea salt. 10oz Jar. 22 Servings (13g/serving)  This has to be my favorite! I find it funny because I like granola but not something I normally go out of my way to get. The Sticky Granola is a mixture of sunflower seeds, almonds, dried fruits and some other seeds which come together with honey and coconut oil. It is the perfect combo of nuts and sweetness so extremely good. I honestly didn't think I would like it, but I was very wrong. You can eat best with a fork or spoon.
