Nellie's Free Range Eggs Summer School #Giveaway!

After a trip up north I happened to see a truck full of caged hens and wow the image will never stop hunting me, although we pretty much use them for food no animal, should ever be subjected to what I saw. Because of this we only purchase eggs which the hen's are able to be healthy because I personally think it makes for a better tasting egg.

Nellie's Free Range Eggs is just that. They allow for their chickens to run around and do as they please, and again I can tell the difference. Nellie's Free Range Eggs is on a mission to get get into the kitchen and prepare delicious egg-centric recipes during its own “Nellie’s Summer School” this June.

If you’re not already familiar, Nellie’s is committed to providing better lives for hens, which means better eggs for you and your family! Coming from the first Certified Humane® farm in the country, Nellie’s girls (aka hens) are never caged and have as much, or as little, access to outside as they want.

Easy to prepare, inexpensive and nutrient dense, eggs are one of the most versatile and nutritious meal or snack options around. Plus, they’re a great first food to get kids into the kitchen and interested in cooking at an early age.

My oldest son, has took a huge interest in cooking, he can make most pasta now, and sweets. We have recently moved into cooking eggs. He of course knew how to make hard boiled eggs but actually making them is a whole new task which he is up for the challenge. My daughter's also enjoy helping me with brownies and cakes, they are always asking me to teach them more in the kitchen so this summer will be the perfect opportunity.
