New from Ravensburger

I personally have nothing against technology, it allows us to have many ways of entertaining us, but I do sometimes feel my kids and even myself spend to much time watching or playing on devices that we lose our means of communication.

Ravensburger has been around for years making some of the most enjoyable puzzles and games which gets the family interacting and doing. My family and I were given a chance to check out 2 of Ravensburger newest products.

The first is the Ravensburger 3D puzzle Sneaker, the design is made up of 108 pieces which are a hard plastic, and are bent with numbers on the back so you can build with ease. The hardest thing about this puzzle is holding it together and getting it to interlock while building, but the end job is well worth the effort. I loved this puzzle because I could get my younger ones to help by having them find the numbers which would go next. So in this case my kids had a great practice learning their numbers 1-108. What also sets this puzzle apart from others is that once completed you can use as a pencil holder, or whatever dry you wish to store in it, for us straws work really well, and with 4th of July coming up it makes a great decor item! The second is a game, Despicable Me Minion Made Labyrinth.  My kids LOVE the movie Despicable Me! and are super excited for the 3rd one to be coming out, so what better way to get pumped up then to play a new game with the characters of Despicable Me. This game is for ages 7 and up, requires 2-4 players. The idea behind the game is to collect all the characters, but while you are doing so the board is always changing with each player's move. The game was fun to play with my 2 older sons, the others got a little confused but they will get the hang of it. Amazon

Here is a little more info about the game from Ravensburger:
The most popular "Despicable Me" characters are hiding in the maze and waiting for you to find them. Try to find the hilarious yellow Minions, the former supervillain Gru, his three adopted girls and several other friends and evildoers! How you ask? It's really easy: Shift the pathway, move your playing piece, and find the movie stars. Labyrinth - mysterious maze game.

I have always loved the Ravensburger brand, they have come out with some of the nicest and beautiful puzzles, along with plenty of family friendly games.
