Pixel Pals

Ever since the movie came out Pixels my kids have been fascinated with Pixelated products, which is fun because I can dust off our old game systems that I have held onto and they have now been playing more of this old school games versus the new school games. I was offered to check out the new Pixel Pals by PDP products.  Light up your world with Pixel Pals; collectible pixel-art renditions of your favourite iconic characters! Pixel Pals want you to show off what you love and shine bright. Pop in a couple AAA batteries and you're all set. Fearless, just, and able to transform into multiple powerful forms.

I received four Pixel Pals to test out which worked out good because almost all my kids got one, which really the one is younger so she didn't notice she was missing out. The first one I pulled out was Mario can you believe he is 32! I am only 33 so he was born a year before me LOL, which makes since because he was a huge part of my growing up, and is still my favorite character and game of all time! Mario is the noble hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. Always willing to leap into action, moustache and all, Mario has continued to grow from his humble origins. Mario's unrivalled courage and cheerful attitude makes him the undisputed fan-favourite.

Next was Link from Zelda, what is funny is this is my husbands favorite game, he has got the boys into loving it as well. A lot of people always seem to think Link is Zelda because of the cover but Zelda is actually the princess which Link needs to save in the game. Legend of Zelda, is a trustworthy, fearless adventurer. Donning a legendary green tunic, sword and shield, the hero of time has arrived to vanquish evil and restore peace to the land of Hyrule.

Finally the last 2 they had to come as a pair because no Joker is without his Harley Quinn. That is correct my last 2 were from DC comics which my kids really enjoy. I always watched the Batman series growing up and of course all the Batman movies. I really love how they made both The Joker, and Harley Quinn as their true selves.

Pixel Pals take AAA batteries, and light up. They stand up on their own, and each pixel lights up, they are so cool and awesome for any gamer.

Pixel Pals come in a variety of styles like:

  • Mega Man
  • Mario
  • Vault Boy
  • Vault Boy Black and White
  • Mega Man Red
  • Fire Mario
  • Luigi
You can purchase them online here for just $14.99! I have only seen Harley Quinn on Amazon and I cannot locate the Joker so if you see him grab him up because they are going fast. You can also probably find these products in your local Comic Book store.
