This season go Organic with Pete and Gerry’s Organic Eggs

I love the holiday seasons, I often find myself cooking and baking more often. One thing that I enjoy baking is Waffles. I do however hate the taste of them so I am always changing them up and trying new things.

This round I decided to give a go at making chocolate chip waffles. They came out tasting like a chocolate chip cookie. I started with Walmart's brand pancake waffle mix, used 3 cups of mix. Then I added 2 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 cup sugar and then 1/4 cup of vanilla extra and finally 4 Pete and Gerry's Organic Eggs.

I am always looking for ways to switch up what my kids eat and get more organic in their diet. Pete and Gerry's Organic Eggs are from hens which are never caged, this is a huge thing for me. Once when traveling home from WI we went by a truck which was transporting chickens and it was the worst, saddest image ever. It makes you rethink what exactly you're putting in your body and what exactly goes on at the farms since this is a normal way to transport.

Pete and Gerry's take pride in that their hens are again never caged, they are fed only organic food, they are not given any sort of shots to make them meatier, they are just able to enjoy their life. I have been sold on Pete and Gerry's for some time now, their eggs do come out tasting better and I have noticed a difference in how my kids behave when eating their eggs versus when we go out to eat and they order "eggs". I also love that Pete and Gerry's Organic eggs are easy to find. You can find their locations here and start your way on to a better diet today :)
