47th Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest Do you have what it takes???

Almost everyone I know has something Pillsbury in their homes, and each year Pillsbury comes out with a Bake-Off cookbook which has 100 winning recipes using Pillsbury.

This is Pillsbury's 47th year in creating such a book. I have always seen the book in the store but never really thought to look at it until I had the chance to review it and boy am I missing out! This is from the last years winners.

I am wanting to try and make a dish a week from the book because of how great some of the recipes are even some things I would never think to touch I am interested in, I look at the pictures and my mouth is drooling : )

I will say when I think of Pillsbury my first thought is bread products which can be both sweet or salty which the Bake Off book is full of desserts, snacks, dinners, breakfast and lunch all really good tasty treats.
The first recipe that stood out to me was the Pumpkin Ravioli with Salted Caramel Whipped Cream, okay tell me the title alone doesn't make your mouth water??? and it seems not to hard to make. I looked at the recipe and thought how can I make it my own which I am gonna try later with replacing the pumpkin with apple. I love that in the Pillsbury Bake Off book it is very detailed you have the picture, word for word instructions on exactly how to make it along with serving size and total time til your able to dig in.

My oldest son loves pink and loves raspberries, which I have come to notice there is not much out there that use raspberries most recipes that do its like a glaze or something that just takes forever to perpare. Well Brian was looking through the book and he came across the receipe for Hot Pink Raspberry and Cream Cake. The next day we went and bought the ingrediants for the cake. Brian helped me measure out ingrediants to make the cake and we had a great time baking together, he was really into helping cause it was something he really wanted. The cake came out wonderful not as pretty as the pic in book but it worked : )  We used Reynolds parchment paper to share the yummy goodness with family.

I really love my Pillsbury Bake Off book it has so many wonderful recipes that I know you will find at least 10 things that you to will wanna go out and bake! Look for the book in your local grocery or retail store.  You can also find great products from Pillsbury by clicking here
